SUPER NUTTY GRANOLA


This super nutty granola is the perfect start to any day. Serve it with your favorite smoothie, oatmeal or yoghurt. Breakfast cannot get easier.

BAKING TIME: 15-20 minutes
TOTAL: 25-35 minutes


INGREDIENTS

DRY INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups oats

  • 1/2 cup cashew nuts

  • 1/2 cup walnuts

  • 1/2 cup almonds

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 pinch salt

WET INGREDIENTS

  • 1/4 cup agave syrup/maple syrup

  • 1/4 cup peanut butter, smooth, natural

  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cup olive oil/melted coconut oil

DIRECTIONS

Preheat the oven for 160 C.

Chop up the nuts (almond, cashew, walnut) into small pieces, set them aside.

In a bowl, mix together all the wet ingredients. In another bowl, mix the rest of the dry ingredients along with the chopped nuts. Then pour in the wet ingredients and mix everything until well combined and everything is coated.

Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the granola mix evenly, using a spoon or a spatula to push the mixture down.

Bake in the oven at 160 C degrees for 10 minutes. Take it out of the oven and toss them around. Put it bake into the oven for another 5 minutes. Make sure it doesn’t burn.

Wait 30 minutes before serving. Store the rest in an air-tight container to use up the rest of the week.
